THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES

Therapeutic exercises include various physical activities to treat disease, disabilities, injury, and musculoskeletal dysfunction. Depending on your health condition, activities can involve the entire body or certain appendages.

Our physical therapists and nurses perform in-depth evaluations in your health to determine the most effective exercise plan. There are several types of therapeutic exercise programs, such as endurance based, which improve circulation and blood pressure and include mostly aerobic activities such as running or swimming. Resistance based exercises consist of strength training such as weights and floor exercise and work to improve balance and muscle strength. Lastly, there are flexibility based exercises, which consists of a series of stretches that help to improve range of motion and mobility.

ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING

Our team of Occupational therapists will work with you to improve your ability to do everyday activities that keep you independent. These activities include getting dressed, preparing meals, cleaning, and showering independently or with the help of a caregiver.

NEUROMUSCULAR RE-EDUCATION

Our team of Physical Therapists will review your past medical history and will determine the best exercise program for your health condition that involves neuromuscular re-education.
